System Voltage Problem – 02

This next video explains what may happen if there are any system voltage problems.

From the previous video we learnt that the ideal system voltage is between 13.4v and 14v.

If your system voltage is too low, the PTO clutch will slip and fail. And if its too high the coil within the PTO Clutch will overheat and it will also fail.

There are 3 parts that need to be checked if there is a problem with your system voltage.

These are:

– The Stator

– Regulator / Rectifer

– Battery

If one of these 3 sections isn’t working properly, it could then damage the other two components. So it’s worth making sure all 3 parts of the charging system are functioning correctly before installing the PTO Clutch.

Moto-Electrical now stock over 400 of the Xtreme range. To find the part you need enter the Manufacturers part number from your original clutch into the search section on the Xtreme shop HERE.
