Ducati has joined forces with luxury car manufacturer Bentley to create a limited edition of their popular Diavel V4 muscle cruiser. Named the ‘Ducati Diavel for Bentley,’ this exclusive model is restricted to just 500 units and comes with a starting price tag of £58,000. The collaboration was unveiled during Art Basel week in Miami Beach, marking the inaugural partnership between the renowned motorcycle and luxury car brands.
Based on the standard Diavel model, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley retains the powerful 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, boasting a claimed 166bhp at 10,750rpm. Priced at £23,595 in its standard form, this special edition aims to elevate the Diavel experience for enthusiasts.
An additional 50 units, labeled ‘Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner,’ will be exclusively reserved for existing Bentley customers. Anticipated to be in high demand, these limited models are expected to sell out rapidly.
Maintaining the core features of the standard Diavel, including the cast aluminum monocoque chassis, advanced lean-sensitive electronics, and distinctive side profile, the special edition draws inspiration from Bentley’s exclusive Batur model. The design choices, including the ‘Scarab Green’ color sourced from Bentley Mulliner, bespoke forged rims in ‘Dark Titanium Satin,’ and a two-tone front grill, fairing, and tank elements, pay homage to the powerful Bentley Batur.
The special edition also introduces unique touches, such as a pair of longer, flatter exhaust tips, carbon fiber finishes on various components, and a rear bodywork that can be interchanged between a double and single seat design.
This collaboration echoes Ducati’s previous venture into luxury car partnerships, as seen with the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini released in 2020. Notably, both Bentley and Lamborghini are part of the Volkswagen Group, sparking curiosity about potential future collaborations with brands like Audi or Porsche.
For those seeking even more exclusivity, 50 ‘Diavel for Bentley Mulliner’ bikes will be exclusively produced for existing Bentley customers. These individuals will have the opportunity to customize their bikes in collaboration with Ducati’s Centro Stile styling team, choosing colors for the seat, front brake calipers, carbon parts, and rims. For a fully coordinated look, the bodywork can be painted to match the customer’s Bentley car, all at a price of £71,000.
As with all special Ducati editions, buyers will receive a certificate of authenticity featuring the model’s name and production number engraved on a plate located on the bike’s right side. Upon starting the bike, a special animation will be displayed on the TFT dash. For those who prefer to keep this collector’s item untouched, it will be delivered in a personalized wooden crate.
